William
The Shire
William (aka Big Bill) is our 14 year old shire gelding standing at 18'2'' (6'2'' in non-horsey terms), As one of the tallest horses in the UK William is a constant favourite with visitors and students alike.
William has his own giant costume cupboard and carries rider wielding weapons and performing stunts as part of our historic displays for school, colleges and community groups.
Even with his exhilarating display work William is one of the gentlest giants you will ever meet and regularly works with special needs children and novice riders.
In his riding lessons he loves to school, hack and even jump and is a thrilling but safe cross country ride.
Snowflake
The Sheep
At Root 'n' Branch Acres Snowflake is one of our star attractions.
Snowflake takes part, alongside her friends in a variety of work from filming to shearing demonstrations, children's petting farms to being a much loved wedding mascot.
Snowflake makes the children and adults alike who meet her laugh and smile at her antics. She also loves to show off her ability around the agility and show jumping course.
Snowflake has also been a mother to some beautiful lambs over her years at Root 'n' Branch Acres and is a much loved member of the team.
